"Bridal Gown Emergency"

I planned and coordinated a wedding at St. John's Orthodox Church in Southfield, Michigan in September 2008. Everything was going well with the setup and wedding party timing when I was called into the Bridal Dressing Room at the church. The Junior Bridesmaid broke the long zipper up the back of her dress, and the material attached to the zipper was ripped. I immediately called a bridal couture alterations company and had my Associate drive the dress to them. The dress arrived back with a brand new zipper in the color that exactly matched her dress about 25 minutes before the start of the Ceremony. Everyone was happy, and the Ceremony started on time with the Junior Bridesmaid walking down the aisle as if nothing went wrong.
