Your Wedding day is special; it's a once in a lifetime event that you want to be perfect! Reception DVD Slideshows are very popular because they are very personal, affordable and they tell your story to your guests, not to mention they are an excellent keepsake and can even be given out as gifts!

I will be doing a series of tips over the next few days...

Tip #1: Before you start going through photos, try to decide on the number of photos you want in your slideshow and how long you want the slideshow to be. This will give you a great guideline and help you limit how many photos you should select. You can generally figure that each photo generally will show on the screen for 5 to 6 seconds and most songs are 3-4 minutes long. A good rule of thumb is that for approximately every 50 photos you have, the show will be approximately 5 minutes long.
