"Midsummer 2012"

This has been a really hot summer doing the weddings around the area. We are about half way through our season. The wedding colors for the season are trending with teal blue or peacock and lots of black and white. We have been fortunate to have very little rain during any of the ceremonies. Always the chairs get wiped down if it sprinkles. We have been at barns, parks, gardens, backyards, and even on the grounds of Country Fest doing ceremonies. Another new idea this year has been including Rev. Frank in the sand ceremony pouring a base of usually white sand before the couple adds their colors. We've had some wonderful soloists sing. It always adds to the ceremony. We are looking forward to more weddings. I'm keeping up with the blog at blog.awesomeweddingevents.com

"2012 Spring is Coming"

Awesome Wedding Events is looking forward to a brand new season of wonderful destination wedding celebrations. Our schedule is filling up and we are honored to be a part of the creation of many upcoming marriages. We have more events on Fridays and Sundays this year which has left more Saturdays open for us so far. We still are able to schedule within a month which can help couples who run into problems. Our ceremony lasts about 20-30 minutes depending on how the couple designs it. It consists of three themes including your individual family foundation, the uniting (vows & rings), and a symbolic activity representing your union of marriage. We consider ourselves to be flexible and experienced as we enter our fifth year performing wedding ceremonies. Rev. Kaija

"2011 Season Happenings"

We are off to a great start for the 2011 Awesome Wedding Events

season. We registered in Minneasota and expect to perform a few wonderful events there this year. A new venue has come our way in Withee Wi at the Munson Bridge Winery and we look forward to the weddings we will have there. Lots of Weddings in Eau Claire this year starting this weekend in Phoenix Park. We are very excited to be part of these special occasions that have been planned and finally the weather is getting much warmer.
