"Berkeley Wedding - Quang & Nicole Jump the Broom!"

I absolutely LOVED shooting Quang and Nicole's wedding. The venue was a photographer's dream. The historic Berkeley City Club right in the middle of downtown Berkeley...Wow! But the most amazing part was Quang and Nicole. They are just beautiful people! So loving and generous, and absolutely gorgeous as you will see. And those two, I tell you, had the loviest group of friends I have ever met. Lots of hugs and laughs!

Nicole's wedding dress was perfect. It had a beautiful vintage feel to it, matching of course, the incredible venue. She was a stunning bride. I love the sweet excitement in her face. And Quang was, of course, the handsome groom.

There were so many unique parts to this whole experience, especially the traditions you don't see everyday! There was Handfasting, where the bride and groom have their hands bound together by multicolored rope strands. Then there was Jumping the Broom, where they quite literally jumped over a broom (I'm excited about the photo I took of this!). The music at the ceremony was provided by harp. And then, at the reception, there was a traditional Dragon Dance...a surprise from Nicole to Quang!
