Rev. Bonnie Connor

I interviewed several officiants before picking Bonnie, and my husband and I couldn't have had a better ceremony. She gave us several sample ceremonies to choose from and then let us make any changes we wanted. I got several nice comments from our guests about the service. They thought Bonnie was warm and genuine and quick thinking on her feet. (It was an outdoor ceremony and we had to deal with a couple of dog barking moments.) She handled everything wonderfully and gracefully, even the last-minute wine box ceremony that I asked her to use for our unity ceremony. I would definitely recommend her!

Living in Houston and trying to find an ordained minister in Austin is quite a challenge. I did what most people would do and googled. I can't even begin to tell you how many different calls I made and how many uncomfortable feelings I had in my search until I reached Rev. Bonnie Connor. What a relief it was, even after the first few words she spoke! I knew instantly she was going to marry us (God willing). Her voice was kind and friendly. She not only was extremely flexible to meet our schedule but she also helped with suggestions on venue. Bonnie arrived on the day of our wedding and meeting her, in person, was just as comfortable as speaking on the phone. Her humor lightened up the mood yet she was very thoughtful to our requests. Our wedding was very small (myself, my groom and our two children) yet we felt as if we had an entire church full of guests. She spoke slowly and clearly and articulated every word. The vows were so profound as she spoke and I truly believe she was responsible for it. Additionally, Bonnie's daughter offered to take photos to practice her photography. That was quite a surprise and we were delighted we had them to share our memories.
