"Get ready 2008!"

For some odd reason I thought I would be able to take a small break from my camera for the holidays and slow down a little bit after such a crazy 2007 wedding season...but it appears that not only am I getting swamped with family portrait requests, but the 2008 brides are on the ball and already booking their photographers!

I have done at least one wedding a weekend since the first weekend in April this year except for 1 weeked in August when I took a small family vacation with my 3 kids and my husband to the Olympic Rain forest of Washington - and its looking like my 2008 is going to be just as busy, if not more so.

I have people ask me all the time if I ever get tired of photographing weddings - and I cant say that I do. Every wedding is totally different than the last and just when I think I have photographed my favorite of all time, the next one comes along and takes the place of the prior wedding.

I always look forward to seeing how the day unfolds and I am continually blessed and feel so honored that people allow me to be there, capturing their amazing day for them.

Every wedding is special to me and I cant wait to see what 2008 has in store for me.
