Quick Tips for Choosing a Wedding Cake

When choosing a wedding cake it is very important for the bride to shop around for the best taste, price and design to fit your needs.
Here are some tips on shopping for a bakery and choosing your wedding cake.
- Decide on your colors, flowers, themes, etc. Have all of that ready to take with you to a bakery consultation.
- Don't be afraid to ask for custom flavor combinations. Usually bakeries are happy to accommodate your requests.
- Decide on a design style: square, round, hexagon. Then decide on an icing. Since there are many to choose from, ask to taste the icing. There is fondant, marzipan and buttercream. An important thing to ask if getting buttercream icing: "Do you use real butter?" It is important to know what you are getting for your money!
